The first Transition Cafe will be taking place on Wednesday 29th Sept from 7-9pm at Cafe Euro, John Street, Sheffield.
It's a chance for all those involved in or interested in the Transition Town movement to meet others, find out what's been going on in Sheffield, and make plans for the future.
There will be drinks and cakes available and the evening will include an hour of Open Space discussion. Please bring any questions or ideas you have for Transition in Sheffield.
This Sunday (4th July) there's a fabulous chance to come and swap some of your old favourite clothes for someone else's old favourite clothes — yep it's clothes swap time!! We're swapping at the Heeley Institute, 147 Gleadless Road, Sheffield, S2 3AF, from 1.30pm-4pm.
Transition Burngreave are also hosting a clothes swap, this Sunday, 4th July, in the Vestry Hall, 2 Burngreave Rd, Sheffield, S3 9DD, from 12-3pm.
The Hazelhurst Community Supported Agriculture project is holding a public meeting on Monday 5th July 2010, 7.00pm for a 7.30pm formal start, at the Grapevine Centre, at the Church of the Nazarene, Northcote Rd, Heeley, S2 3AT.

Julie has organised a indy screening of The Age of Stupid on Wednesday 28th April 2010 at 7pm at Christchurch, 275 Pitsmoor Road.
This will be a FREE (donations welcome) showing of the film and there will be refreshments and time for us all to have a discussion about the issues the film raises afterwards.

We are raring to go in 2010 and have planned a series of 3 get-togethers in February, March and April to share news, information and enthusiasms around the broad range of carbon-reducing activities we are involved with.
