Grow Sheffield is closely related to Transition Sheffield in vision and approach, and provides a coordinating role for visioning and supporting urban food growing for Sheffield.

Grow Sheffield began in 2007 with the aim of encouraging urban food growing for everyone in Sheffield. Their Abundance project put Grow Sheffield firmly on the map, demonstrating what a wealth of fruit could be harvested within the Sheffield area. Now they're kicking off a Community Growers project to bring food growing expertise right into local areas.
