The Co-operative has organised a Transition North conference for Friday 6th November 2009 in Slaithwaite, West Yorkshire.

It is hoped that the conference, "could well be the start of an important new initiative - the coming together of the long established Cooperative movement and the rapidly growing Transition movement - to create exciting new opportunities for a sustainable future for all of us".
